Książka potrzebowała trochę czasu, żeby się rozkręcić, ale ostatecznie mnie przekonała. Jestem ciekaw jak to wszystko zostanie domknięte, bo mam wrażenie, że seria robi bardzo małe kroczki w stronę jakiegoś zwieńczenia, a przecież został już tylko 1 tom.

W końcu na pierwszy plan wychodzi Alex, co było już widać w poprzednim tomie, ale tutaj to mocno kontynuuje. Przez 6 książek był praktycznie niewidzialny, tylko po to, żeby szybko stać się jedną z istotniejszych postaci w kilku ostatnich tomach, co bardzo entuzjastycznie przyjmuję. W ogóle rola każdej z głównych postaci jest sensowna. Może niekoniecznie tak samo angażująca, ale wszystkie wprowadzają coś do historii. To coś z czym Ekspansja miała dużo problemów w przeszłości i mam nadzieję, że obecną trajektorię utrzyma do końca.

This is the penultimate full novel in the series and one that seemingly might have the most logical stretches of internal logic to it. However, by this point some fantastical thibgs have happened over all so it isn't too out of line with the rest of the series. For me it might have been so many of them at once that were a bit odd at times.

There are a lot of new plans going on and we get to meet some characters that are new and some come back that we haven't seen in a while, and they are used in ways that make sense. It also happens to be one of the most consequential books in the series as it should be and every twist tends to catch you.
