I liked that the characters met first as children, and then were separated while they grew up. There was some nice mystery to this one. I'm glad that Kim's livelihood does not revolve around food. A quick but enjoyable read.

Meeting when they were children helps to shape the people that Kim and Travis become. Years later as adults they still wonder about the two weeks that they spent together as children. We see great characters from previous books appear and some new but well loved characters join the story and the little town of Edilean. This is a really nice romantic and funny story.

This was pretty awful. I kept rechecking the publication date, convinced that this had to have been written in the 80s. I mean, seriously? The heroine actually said to her employee that she needed to buy rouge. Rouge? Who says that any more? Hasn't that term gone the way of cream rinse?
Also, I just cannot bring myself to believe in their feelings for each other. And she was not creeped out enough by the fact that he'd been stalking her for years.
The beginning, when they were kids, though. That was well done.

Nice Mills and Boon type book which has a nice romance in the main story line and then totally unbelievable subplots.

Oh Jude Deveraux! It's been awhile since I've fallen hook, line, and sinker for one of your books, but this one is one I have! It is cheesy, over the top, sweet, and so very, very, ridiculously perfect.

Kim's (jewelery designer) story. Another delightful entry in the Edilean series.

There was something very playful about this book. I loved all the banter between the characters. The chemistry between Kim and Travis was simply perfect. And now I'm curious about the next book.

Easy read. Definitely some laugh out loud moments. I like that she writes her heroines as snarky independent women. Some issues just leave me feeling a little ehhh...like how the MC spends a few days with someone as a young child but seems to remember vivid detail of every conversation they had. Highly unlikely. However, I do like the idea of having met someone who has a huge impact on your life and then reconnecting.
