This is a really eclectic mix of essays, all originally published in different places, but I like them! It's cool to read earlier generations of queers - Tea isn't even that old, she's Gen X, but hearing about her cohort in the 90s is so interesting - both really cool and really sad. Don't do drugs, kids !!!
I especially loved her analysis of Jody Caravaglia's poem "The City to a Young Girl" and the free speech trial it sparked in her hometown. The poem is seared in my memory now.
