I give this book 3.75/5 stars and am rounding up! I think that around the first half of the book (which was 735 pages) was a bit long-winded and hard to get through. This may be because the plot is so intertwined and there’s so many characters that I didn’t review from the prior books before reading, and it’s been so long since I read the last one. A lot of the first half seemed unnecessary to me and made it hard for me to keep reading because I had forgotten all the issues that the last book left us at in the story. However, a little more than halfway through, the plot picked up and became super interesting! We get to see lots of character development for the FMC, Sera, who has really been through so much. I also was happy with the ending, although it leaves me anxious to see what happens with Poppy in the future!!
