You know what's funny? For such a Shakespeare hater, I really love a good Shakespeare retelling. I have already read two Much Ado About Nothing retellings this year before I had to read the actual play for class. I was curious to see how the retellings I had read would measure up to the actual thing. I was comparing and contrasting the whole time I was reading the play.

I will admit to skimming a large part of the second half of the play because it was midterms and I didn't have time to read the full thing, so I would really like to go back and actually fully read it at some point. But what I did read, I enjoyed. It actually made me realize some of the humor that people talk about when people talk about Shakespeare. I actually was laughing so it gets bonus points for that.
