Can't believe this is one person's life. Incredible memoir. Reads like a fiction. Still thinking about her life story months later.

Cupcake Brown is so raw and real in this book. She told every little detail of the life that she lived and the things that she did. The good, the bad, the horrible, it was all in there. There were parts in this book that were so crazy to me that it seemed like fiction.

As a person that loves someone that is an addict this book is hearbreaking. It is also a survival story. A story of someone that overcame all odds.

If you haven't already, and can deal with all the triggers, READ THIS BOOK. But there are triggers for almost everything you can think of.

I had this book for a while but never finished it  but because I had this one in audio form I decided to try and I loved it. I love the voice of the person they choose to read the story and I liked the journey of going through the authors life with them. And this was just the book I needed before going to college because just as cupcake didn’t give up I won’t either. 10/10 book

A truthful and raw memoir that is a rollercoaster to read but well worth the life lessons and inspiration by the end. Found myself taking a break due to some difficult themes but towards the end I couldn’t put it down. I can see why many return to read this book again years later.

This memoir was full of emotion, hope and truth. Some parts were very intense and others were just downright terrible to read. But this book is incredible! Cupcake's story is so inspirational her journey through trauma, addiction, recovery and finding her higher power are a book I would recommend to anyone!
