What do I need to say about this book? PERFECTION

I listened to the audiobook narrated by Andrew Lincoln with this re-read. I really enjoyed it. He was a great narrator and I love the other two they had gotten for Ginny Potter and Rite Steeker. It was definitely worth the long wait on the hold list.

Not really a fan of Quidditch, but the book itself is a great read. Although I find it somewhat lacking, I still enjoyed reading the how Quidditch was conceived, its history and the rules and regulations of the game.

What I liked:
1) the fact that I understand the game more after reading this
2) the illustrations were cute

What I didn't like:
1) the illustrations were too few, it would have been better if there were more illustrations
2) the book was too short, I imagined it to be a little more lengthier than it is

This book is part of the Hogwarts Library box set. I loved learning about the history of Quidditch. Rowling explains the different countries that originated the key parts of the game. She also explains the roles of each player, the equipment, and the various teams that exist. This is perfect for any Harry Potter fan.

#hubchallenge19 kind of cute, but not great

This was my 5th book finished in 2022.

A difficult book to rate; I feel I would have liked it more if I cared about real-world sports.

J.K. Rowlings' imagination is a sweet read for hungry readers. The depth with which she has thought out the game of quidditch, its rules and history, somehow denotes the great care she takes in writing her fiction. The book is refreshing and fun, and calls for more of the same.
