I have owned this book for awhile and I have never read it. I got it on audible this year and I loved it. I went back and read the book after listening to the audio. It is wonderful.

I liked the touch with the inventor of the Golden Snitch coming from the same town in which Harry was born, Godric's Hollow

Just delightful. Andrew Lincoln is a phenomenal narrator and the bonus content performed by "Ginny Potter" & "Rita Skeeter" was icing on the cake.

Fluff. Not particularly a criticism, it was entertaining and passed the six laugh test (do we have one for books as well as film?) That given, it was of limited entertainment & some parts dragged a little longer than they should. How many variations on teams and their history do we really need.

Well, at least it wasn't the appendices... Although *they* really are an example of universe building.

I love that JK invented quidditch as well as the backstory for it.

I listened to this on audio, which I highly recommend. It’s short, but the sound effects really help you engage. I’m not a big sports person, like at all, but I found this to be a fun read. I’m so impressed with the world JK Rowling created, even just with Quidditch. All of the teams, and history...it’s truly amazing. She put so much thought into it. Because of that, it’s 5 stars from me.
