3.5-- a book that at least 7 out of 10 muggles will thoroughly enjoy.

This is a quick, fun read that is full of many delightful details about Quidditch. I found it to be more fascinating than expected to dive into the origins of each aspect of Quidditch and very much enjoyed the whimsical and humorous details that were included about the magical sport.

Great entertainment ;)

Cute. Read it for funsies.

3⭐️ read via audiobook.

A nice little edition to the HP series as a separate little book. A look into quidditch, how it came about and some facts about the game/different teams.

Not a lot to say as it was a super short read!

Glad to have checked this one off, finally! And I love that I managed to finish it right before starting The Goblet of Fire, with The Quidditch World Cup opening.

I set a goal this year to read all the HP universe books without taking too long of a break in between...as a "getting the full experience" kind of thing.

I admit that I did end up taking a short hiatus when some unexpected life craziness came up, so I picked up this as a quick book to poke in and out of when I had free time.

It worked perfectly for that- mostly because I found it difficult to read more than a few pages at a time. This really is meant to be a nonfiction book taken from the wizarding world, so I wasn't put off by it being a little dry.

There was quite a bit of clever humor interjected into the pages, which helped to lighten it up, and I enjoyed learning about the origins of the sport and everything else in between. I feel like I walked away from this read with a much better understanding of Quidditch and its fanfare in general. Even though I found myself painfully bored at times.

I don't care much for books about sports, but I've made an exception for this one. ;) I loved reading about the creation and evolution of Quidditch more than anything though!

This was quite fun, and I enjoyed listening to it on audiobook, but I didn't love it like I loved the other two Hogwarts library books. I got a bit bored with the history of Quidditch, finding it somewhat less magical than that of beasts and fairytales. That said, it was a good addition to the library.
