Not sure if this was a me problem and this was just not the right mood to read it but it didn't do much for me. I do love how it is drawn though!
We have Yona and Hak arriving at the Wind Tribe and got to see a bit about them before they run off to keep everyone safe. Not sure how I feel about some of the sexual tension style comments that sometimes come from nowhere really. The banter just wasn't there for me.
I'll still likely try the third volume though and see what happens

I'm still in awe over the artwork! I'm having sucu a great time reading this.

4.5 stars

This volume seemed kind of tame even with all of the action. I remember the scene of Yona on the cliff with the fire tribe being really intense and powerful in the anime and that memory doesn’t hold up to the tameness of the manga’s depiction. Will power through though because I do find the plot interesting!

5⭐
