Not my favorite narrative non fiction, but definitely kept me reading. What a sad situation.

Surprisingly riveting and suspenseful story of a cruise ship journey starting in March 2020. We pretty much knew what would happen, but the inside story is harrowing.

This book was good, not great. The number of “characters” made it hard to keep up with and to keep storylines and background info straight. Overall, I think this author has good storytelling skills and this book really did feel like a story and not just a long interview or article as some nonfiction books do.

This was extremely well written. I had known bits and pieces of this story but to see it play out fully was eye opening. The descriptions from the passengers and workers were hard to read at some points and I shed some tears finishing this book.

Wow this was amazing but it definitely renewed my anxiety from early 2020 when there was so much uncertainty about how COVID worked.
