I would have liked this a lot more had it taken longer for the main plot to come to conclusion I feel like the last two hundred pages were mostly filler stuff and I didn’t like the plot holes it left unnecessarily

This book took me on a ROLLER COASTER of emotions. The first half of the book was very difficult to get through at times so please be aware of the trigger warnings. With that said, the second half of the book was so beautifully written. I fell in love with Zade more in this book than the first one. H.D. Carlton knows what to give her readers.
