Finally having made it to the last book in the series, it has been bitter sweet since I loved majority of the books in this series, while the last two, including this one, just didn't cut the muster. Again, some of the same issues as with the previous two installments as well as {Jax died way too easily, characters were all over the place, too much emphasis on trying to fight and kill women, and overall dissatisfaction with the story}. I am glad at least Padrone, Emilio, and his other boys are all family again, but with the issues I just stated, it didn't make the book any better. I also will say the sexual scenes with Jax were very fucked up and hot despite what happened! In any case, I am glad I did read the series and enjoyed most of the books within it! Padrone will always leave an imprint on my book brain! Great story and overall work on the series Kenzie! Maybe hoping for audio versions of these in the future! If you have stuck around this long to read my reviews on this series, I hope you have fun reading them!

Recommendations Continued: If you do want to try this series, I would recommend books 1 - 5 personally since I felt books 6 - 8, it started going downhill. Again, subjective here on that, but something to keep in mind if you want to read this series!

Safe to say that this author is just for not for me.
