I loved this book so much, I ran out and bought Book 3 just so I could finish the story!!
A lovely follow up to Miss Peregrine's Home for Peculiar Children. I'm looking forward to reading the final book in the trilogy.
Not quite as good as the first volume. There were a couple of times where I felt like sequences were added, and characters were added, that didn't advance the overall plot. It may be that they were built in around the new set of photographs. But I listened to the audio and couldn't see if that was the case. That said, I did not feel like I missed anything by listening to the book and not seeing the photographs. I'll probably go back and look at a print copy to see the pictures. That said, I think any slowness or lack in the story was largely countered by the amazing narration by Kirby Heyborne. I always enjoy books he reads!
After the twist at the end of this book, I am looking forward to reading Library of Souls.

I couldn't really get into it and forced myself to get through the majority of the book. I didn't finish it because it had to go back to the library, and I don't really care. I do have to give the author props for creating an intricate world that he's thought a lot about, and the actual writing itself is much much better than most YA out there. It just had no spark.
Great - but really want the third installment to publish sooner rather than later...
My new favorite fantasy/adventure series. Was really hard to put down. I can't wait to read the 3rd book!
Oh boy, oh boy, oh boy! More pictures, more adventures...I love this series. This time around, the peculiar children and Jacob are trying to rescue Miss Peregrine. To do so they must travel to WWII London and fight not only the evil wights and hollows, but survive German bombs. As in any good series, things turn out differently than expected and it will require at least one more book to reach resolution! I'm going to be lined up to get that one hot off the presses.
