I am not one to get triggered easily but I did have to skip some of pages in part 1 of this book. It is very descriptive so do read the trigger warnings. Overall I thought the book was brilliant one of my favorite series. The romance between Zade and Adeline is to die for.

I skipped most of this book because it was just awful. The main character is raped and violated over and over then manipulated into worse before becoming a murderer. It’s insane. Recommended via TikTok and I won’t be doing that again. I wish I’d never read it.
