Soooo..... I did not know there were more books after the third book. I'm currently playing catch up. I love Damian and Nikki together, but her mother is such a pain!!! Can wait to read more.

Take Me was a perfect ending for our Nikki and Damien. Seeing them prepare for their wedding, dealing with Nikki's mom, Jamie's return, and Nikki's demons in a short and sweet novella was just what the doctor ordered. I love how, no matter what happens, no matter how many roadblocks, Damien and Nikki always push through and make it out the other side. Plus, the sex is just hot.

Such a short & sweet novella about their issues of getting into a marriage & who to invite & issues always rose up. But in the end they got married anyway the way he intended in the very beginning.

I truly adore this series. I think even though they both have demons from their past, being together does nothing but strengthens not only them personally, but as a couple too. Evil from Nikki's past creeps into their world threatening to push her back to her dangerous self destructive ways. When the stress of the wedding and Nikki's mother get to be too much for Nikki to handle, Damien comes in and takes care of it all.
I was disappointed when I heard that this was an epilogue and we were at the end of Damien and Nikki's story, but it turns out that his was a short novella with more books to come from these two. I for one am looking forward to seeing where Ms. Kenner takes all of us next.

Well, when I finished COMPLETE ME I cried because I thought, "No more Nikki and Damien." Then I heard about TAKE ME and I was so happy...more Damien and Nikki?!?!?! Be still my heart. Of course, I zoomed through this because it is Damien and Nikki, and I love them so much! Now they are married and are perfectly happy together! I am happy for them and sad for me because this probably really was the last book. Aargh! I must try to compromise and cry happy tears!

I was pretty critical of the final book in the trilogy, feeling there were missed story opportunities. Against my better judgment, I decided to listen to this novella, believing it would complete what was missing, moving the relationship to the next level. Unfortunately, 2/3 of it was consumed by sexual romps with very little story or other action. I won't be continuing with the spinoffs.
