This is a good intro to thriller for younger readers. It manages not keep the thrill alive without being complicated or too scary. As an adult reader, I'm trying to look past how easy it was for the clues to be put together and for Amy to pull the things she did, but you have to remember that it is meant for children so of course it won't be complex.

Just as good as I remembered! Perhaps a bit unrealistic, but very entertaining.

This book was really good. Read it in one day. The author had me on the edge of my seat and I was always waiting for more. Amy was a super smart girl and when she got kidnapped along with baby Kendra, she took care of Kendra like she was her own. There was so many times she could have escaped without Kendra but she knew she couldn’t leave her behind.

The kidnappers were so dumb. They talked about a lot of stuff with Amy and Kendra being around. Most kidnappers wouldn’t say all the stuff that they said. I was so hurt when the kidnappers said they wanted to make sure Amy never talked again. Amy’s bestfriend, Jorja was so helpful in helping the detectives on her case. Without her, they wouldn’t have even thought twice about the videos being sent to them.

My mom gave me this book and said it is one of her favorite books and I see why. I really enjoyed it and look forward to reading more books from this author. The only reason I didn’t give this book 5 stars is because some of the stuff that happened or was said in the book didnt sound real.

Not bad. I was expecting a little more to happen, but all in all not bad. Amy was smart. She knew the risks, and she played her part perfectly.
Peg Kehret is an excellent writer. I loved how she wove so many lives together. Almost like a Six Degrees kind of thing. Just goes to show that if you really do see something, you should say something.

I really enjoyed this story. It was fast paced. It's about a 3 year old who gets kidnapped along with her 15 year old babysitter. The babysitter was very smart and she had some great ideas on how to escape her kidnappers. The story takes place in only 6 days. It made me think about how people don't help others. I certainly will be looking for more books by this author.

I can't rate this. It was good, but it was just what I expected it to be. I felt like I could write it and do it better.

All kinds of nostalgia reading an old children’s mystery!
