A fun, fluffy light-hearted read with some funny moments. While I enjoyed the banter between the two characters, they felt older than high school seniors. I wish there had been more emotional exploration for everyone involved, because they seemed a bit flat at times and without clear motivations. I was able to overlook the insta-love vibes, but could not get over the ending, unfortunately!

That said, I would be open to reading more book from the author because it was a fun romcom!

THIS WAS SO CUTE!!! 

I'm literally still ghussing over Violet and Reed but I felt like I was back in middle school reading a Wattpad book! 

This is a clean high school romance about the new girl in town dating her schools hockey captian -- after finding him conoodling with someone else she finds herself making a deal with the rival hockey captian of the neighboring town to fake date!!! 

I live laugh love a fake Dating romance and they were just so cute! Reed was way head over heels for our FMC and I love when the guy is ghussing over our girl 😍😍 

The only reason it's a 4.5 and not a 5 stars is because I HATE THE WAY VIOLET LET HER FEARS RUN HER LIFE!! girl I get it, you're in high school so you're a little stupid but also... This guy has shown you who he is!!! You're gonna believe someone else???? 

Anyway, I highly recommend!! I will definitely be picking up the next one!
