other than that this was a pretty standard fake dating ya book. i love me a good fake dating plot, especially one where the fmc is getting back at her ex. beautiful to me. so i liked that aspect of it definitely. i also really liked the mmc, reed. he was very sweet and misunderstood. sometimes he was a little cringe for the “im big and scary grrr” act but what can you do about it.
violet on the other hand, was a mostly decent fmc except for that stupid ass third conflict… the whole book i really admired her for not falling into jeremy’s manipulative bs and then boom. we need some drama so she loses all reason and believes notorious liar and freak jeremy. just stupid. made me wanna tear my hair out.
also i will say that this was VERY fast burn. also extremely insta-lovey on reed’s end. i do love a good pining down bad man, but like come on what do you know abt this girl other than that she kicks cars
