I finished Our House a few months ago and can't get the ending out of my head. There are so many twists, one that I should have seen coming, but didn't. Without spoiling the ending - it was twisted in a very different way. It was a very good, so messed up, ending! I look forward to reading Louise Candlish's other novels!

Really enjoyed the book and would have given 4 stars but after writing such a good story and then rushing the end, I had to go down. The ending felt so rushed and harder to follow where the writer was taking us. Completely changed the flow of the story. Overall great read. J also had this in my TBR list from forever ago but kept recognizing certain parts, I feel I’ve read it before prior to starting my Goodreads acct

The book started in an interesting way. The confusion, the he said she said, the 2 perspectives of the same story were nice and they keep you captivated. Boy this guy's life went from bad to worse in a second. However once you read a third of the book you figure out what happens and the unfolding is not so interesting anymore. It's predictable. You know who is who and why even before they uncover it.
The ending has a good twist.

I am dazed, slightly dehydrated and have aching eyes - I couldn't put this book down.
The old adage of An Englishman's home is his castle is true, and in the current times when homeowners are asset rich and cash poor, castles are very important investments. Fi returns from a few days away to find that her house is being moved into by another couple, they are under the impression that they have bought the house.
There are so many twists, turns, slippery slopes and 'oh no!' moments in this rip roaring read that I do now need to go and lie down with a soothing copy of the Radio Times. The excitement is sustained right up until the least sentence - great read!

Very disappointing. It was prolonged to the point of exasperation. I thought there would be a twist but it just ended so predictably that I was relieved when this god-awful book ended.
Absolutely loved it! Loved the ending and all the twists and turns. Loved the characters. Loved the plot lines. Thought it was unique. So glad I got this book!
Good story with plenty of plot twists and a great ending
