This was an awesome read with one of the best opening scenes of any novel I've ever read. Just imagine coming home to find that some other family has moved into your house. It's all legal: they've got the papers to prove it. The dual husband/wife narrative works really well and the ending was utterly unexpected. Fresh and entertaining. Thank you netgalley for the e-review edition.
I had a hard time reading this book. The premise of the book sounds wonderful. How would you feel coming home to find that a new family has moved in. And then, needing answers, not being able to find your estranged husband. It could be a great plot... but I found this story did not fulfill that plot.
The story really started to drag, it could have been shorter. I never connected with the characters or the way the story was told. I just wanted to get to the end to find out how it finished. Unfortunately, there was no surprise to ending. It was what I had expected. Overall, the book was okay.
Thanks to Berkley and NetGalley for giving me the opportunity to read and review this book. My apologies for how long it took me to do so.

Our House is the story of the worst thing imaginable - what if you came home one day, to find an estate agent selling your house from under your feet? Where is your husband, and what does he know?
This was another book I have conflicting feelings about! When I read this I was really in the mood for a thriller and wanted something fast-paced, and at first this really delivered. Unfortunately, it started to taper out for a while around the middle, and I felt like the big punches or twists were a little late to the party, and that it could have been paced out a little more consistently.
Having said that, the concept of this book was fantastic. Can you even imagine coming home and finding out your house is no longer your house? I enjoyed that aspect maybe the most; the idea that your entire life can dissolve in front you at any moment. God, that’s a depressing thought.
Anyway - overall it was a good read, but not one of my fave thrillers!

The beginning is good, yet the development of the story is very plain. I almost did not finish it.
I was pleasantly surprised by this, it was long but it got me, I didn't expect a lot of it, which was nice for a change.
Really wanted to love this book, but I did not at all. It took a great deal of time to get moving with the storyline, (about half the book in) and fell flat when it finally began. Characters were all self absorbed and unlikeable and the ending was rushed and pathetic.
Boring
I ended up slim reading most of this book in an attempt to find something to get me interested.
