Another wonderful adventure with Peter Pan and company. A great ending to the series.

These books are cute, but they get repetitive, I think I'm just a bit too old to enjoy all of them.

I didn't like this one as much as I liked the others. Maybe it was the 20 year time gap. Maybe it was because Wendy was just a boring female protagonist compared to molly, who was incredibly brave and wonderful. Don't get me wrong, I loved it. I loved everything to do with the island and Peter and hook's rivalry. Like give me an entire book about just the island please. This specific peter is still such a comfort character. And I loved the subplot of Peter being afraid ombra and the skeleton and being ashamed about it. But I just didn't feel as immersed as I did with the other three. I don't know.

Peter meets Wendy, John, and Michael! I loved the cross over into the world of Peter Pan that people know and love!

{Second Read} A great conclusion to the official Unauthorized prequels to Peter Pan, with characters returning that we all know and love from the previous three books, with the addition of a character we all know and love.

{First Read}A fitting conclusion to what is supposed to be the unauthorized prequels to "Peter Pan". I still have The Bridge to Neverland to read. though now I shall read Peter Pan, followed by Peter Pan in Scarlet.

I read the first three Peter & The Starcatchers books earlier this year and really loved them. So coming back to the familiar characters, and meeting some new ones, was really fun. I really like the writing style, and Jim Dale's narration is just perfect for this series. I don't know what else to say about this series, this book. It's exciting, full of mystery and action and love and humor. I'm glad they wrote a fourth book. :) Now I really want to read the original Peter Pan book, which I can't believe I've never done.

I was actually disappointed. After the awesome action-packed adventures of the first three books, I was expecting another. Even though the supporting characters have changed, they seem like a replica of the crew in the previous books. Peter's interactions with his old friends are simply awkward because time has aged them and he remain the same. Yet, the new friends seem like strangers throughout the story. It didn't feel like an adventure to me. It was more like Peter running an errand, which happened to ask him to risk his life. The humor and flair of the previous books is lost in this one. Still, it was a good leisure read. There's just nothing special or exciting about it.
