This is definitely reminiscent of addie larue (even both of their demon lovers are called Luke).
I loved some lives of hers and quite disliked others - I felt like some of them could have been shortened to improve the pace.
Overall I found it entertaining but I needed more chemistry between her and Luke.

A 4 star read. The premise is that in 1895 an artist had (inappropriate) relations with our protagonist, Juliet. Juliet’s mother, an amateur witch, cast an incompetent curse on the artist that goes very wrong. The result is that Juliet is reincarnated and is cursed to have unrequited love lifetime after lifetime. The curse is overseen by an “administrator” who is of course a hunky minor demon, thus completing the necessary love triangle of all romance novels. The premise is cool. And the time/travel and reincarnation concept is interesting. But the book was kind of Addie LaRue-like, and had similar flaws. The modern day character was the story I was most interested in, and some of the flashbacks to her prior lives therefore felt overly long, and more period-piece exposition on the times than strictly necessary for character development or to propel the plot forward. I wish the fantasy had been dialed up a bit more. But it kept my interest and was fun, and I do recommend it.

Prose was good. Story was also good. Felt like the beginning was a bit misleading, but I finished the book in about a day. Would recommend.
