I love a second chance romance and I enjoyed the premise and the dual POV writing. But I felt like Ethan's character development was lacking and it made the HEA seem questionable. He was still pretty immature at times and I didn't love how much he was pouting when Lilah set boundaries. That was a red flag moment. The plot twist in Lilah's family story I genuinely didn't see coming and added more depth to her character. Overall a quick, fast read with some solid steamy scenes.
