i think i know more about gymnastics than you do genius. spent the whole book pointing out the inaccuracies (but also kicking my feet and giggling bc it’s my exact niche and i loved it). loved that i am technically canon in this book bc i went to olympic trials in st louis.

The romance in this book felt incredibly flat to me. I never felt there was any true spark between the two, and Avery as a character seemed to just fall into being in love with Ryan, when they really only went on a single date, and none of the rest of the time they spent together was written about for the reader to actually connect to. I appreciated the mental health talk in this book, but it felt like it was rushed through. The book itself just felt very rushed, and I didn't feel any connection to the characters.
