Fever Dream is a quick but layered existential horror that left me feeling pretty damn bleak and entirely unsettled. While not as wildly abstract as I was imagining it would be, the play and banter between the narrators was very interesting and kept my curiosity peaked as I began dissecting the story for both worms and meaning. From the subsequent environmental damage caused by capitalistic consumption to parental fears and trauma, believe me, there is A LOT packed into this short read.

Extremely compelling and disturbing tale of the consequences of environmental pollution.

This was a strange one. Classified as horror lit byt there was only one creepy scene, everything else just didnt make sense. There is no plot, just a recount of a strange interaction. Writing style put me off though, it's told in present tense. There is a voice of a boy talking to the female narrator and the narrator is telling another story in present tense as it is happening? I don't know what to think of the book, if there was a point at all, but maybe that  is the goal, to have to meaning because it is like a fever dream.
