Flaws of characters a main focus: Yes

The book was 300 pages, but probably could’ve been cut down to 200 if all the unnecessary internal dialogue and description from Emily was cut out. The basic premise behind the book was good, but it became exhausting to read through her thoughts after a while.

I couldn’t figure out if Kristen was the bad guy or if Emily could was an unreliable narrator. Mostly this book just made me feel anxious. The last sentence didn’t really ease that anxiety.

book was like fine, kinda mid, but i enjoyed the conversation about toxic friendships

I was craving a not-too-deep, can't-put-down, oh-no-she-didn't thriller and this was exactly that.
