Not as good as I was hoping. The entire plot centered around girls pining over men.

This series went from pretty good to meh by the end of it. I love Emma though and oddly enough, she was never the problem. The storylines were cliched and predictable but still entertaining.

It's interesting that 9/10, the people harming her were human. This totally explains why she doesn't trust many people later on.

I recommend the series if you like the character and are out of any of her other stories to read.

Overall, a pretty solid, though cliched and predictable, backstory for Emma.

I really liked that Emma got to meet someone else with powers! It's an interesting first to show for her, and we get to see how this affects her opinion of other mutants. I really liked the story and art here, and just wish that this series had continued. I would have read so many more of these!
