This was SO good! Although I figured out loosely the whodunnit side fairly early, I still had a great time seeing it all come together and figuring out the missing pieces. I love books like this for making you think about how it happened, but also about why the characters did what they did. I loved Pip and Ravi, they were so sweet together (even if we don’t really get to see them together). The format with the production logs sometimes made me lose interest a little because I wanted to keep reading the story part, but they were still interesting to see how Pip was piecing things together and gave vital information. I really loved this book and want more

4.5 ⭐⭐⭐⭐✨
I’ll admit I wasn’t too thrilled going into this considering I don’t read too many YA stuff. I seemed to have weaned off it somewhere along the way. But this book really surprised me. This was in a sweet spot somewhere between YA and Adult, which was really what I needed after reading a ton of adult thrillers.
I was turning pages faster than I was reading them and barely getting anything else done. Whenever I had to peel my eyes away from the book, I found myself thinking of every character in the book as a suspect and the motive they had.
I loved the cutesy whatever thing going on between Pip and Ravi, it was so sweet and innocent and adorable.
The repetition of facts a bit annoying; no one wants to read the transcript and then a paragraph under it summarizing what it said. I found it made the book rather longer. I guess it makes sense since it is for an audience that requires
The ending was spun smartly and it was so layered that you can’t help but marvel at the author’s train of thoughts. I was however stunned by a certain death in the book; really wish the author said “haha JK!” in the end or something. 😕
But overall, I really did enjoy this book and I can’t wait to devour the rest of the trilogy.
