love me some anti-capitalist critique in fiction. really glad they didn’t make lex 8 years old or so damn annoying in the movie. was also interesting to see the choices in what things worked between book and movie.

The film is a classic, but this is the first time I’ve read the book!
I loved the slow buildup. Otherwise, it’s quite similar to the film.

I was very engulfed with the story since it was up my interest. The starking difference with the novel was very eye opening! 

This is so nicely written and the fact diagrams and codes were utilized it felt so real and something that woukd happen today.

Also raptors are scary

Absolutely one of the most hard-core, bloody, traumatising books I've read in ages. Don't let Spielberg fool you. Here's some examples:

A man gets blinded by acid, disembowled and has his head eaten by a Dilophosaurus

Multiple people get horrifically mutilated and killed by raptors

So yeah don't say I didn't warn you lol.
