Very nostalgic for me and kinda gave the wattpad books I read in like fourth grade (i know wtf) but in the best way idk how to describe it. I thought for some reason it was going to be like the purge if it was romance and that is Not it at all but I had a fun time reading anyways and I want to read the rest so bad

Did I find this okay and that is had an ick factor a bit? Yes.

Did I buy the next two in the trilogy to read? Yes.

Why you ask? One word: Macalister.

It’s so very sexy and intriguing! And it is delicious! High society and the games they play are very entertaining.
The push and pull between the characters is great.
Everyone has an angle and goal.
I love this world and the images it creates.
Twists and turns. Lots of questions!
I think this author writes sexy so well! It’s very hot and naughty.
There’s a great villain that I’m very intrigued by, I can’t wait to see where his character goes.
And I have questions after the surprise ending!
I want more of this world and the characters!

Let me quote our dear Royce for this one: „I‘m sure [this book] is nothing a few decades of very expensive therapy can’t fix.“
@HaleFamily I‘ll send you the bill

Listened on audio and the narrator did a great job. Single pov.

This book was really good with multiple shocking moments that were at times jaw dropping. Definitely pushed the lines of dark at times but the feelings between the main characters was palpable. The father was creepy and don’t love that aspect but can see how it is a useful conflict device.

There was a lot of Greek mythology references that I didn’t really follow but it wasn’t really necessary as most of it was explained anyways.

It does end in a cliffhanger as it’s part of a trilogy.
