I'm an author and so this isn't a review.

I had a lot of fun being involved in this book, and figuring out exactly who the mysterious Tui Merriweather really is and how all these amazing stories linked together through the magical space of New Zealand's national museum, Te Papa.

My stories are Lost at Te Papa, Found at Te Papa, and Clean Up (co-written with Eileen Mueller) in which we tie up many of the loose ends, but in a place as eclectic as a museum, and with a group as quirky as Phoenix Writers, you can never be too sure what is going to happen next...

Enjoy!

Oh man. I really wanted to love this book. I thoroughly enjoyed the stories – there's some great writing in here – but the editing let them down. Missing quote marks, inconsistencies (four hand spans is way more than six inches), poor punctuation and even a misspelling of the main character's name.

In the end: content = good, production = frustrating.

(Also, the title of each story is set in some 'Bleeding Cowboys' style font so if you dislike it as much as I do, be warned.)
