the twist, holy shit

This book is so good! If you ignore the obvious patient/client violations, this story is so well written. I loved it from start to finish, completely dedicated an entire afternoon to reading this book from start to finish! I'm so so glad I read this, 0.25 stars off simply for the unrealistic patient/client relationship and privileges that would seriously never fly irl

I think I was unknowingly spoiled for this book years ago and had internalized the twist, even though I knew nothing else about the story, which made this pretty disappointing.

Really good book! Really hooked you in with the storytelling and hooks. Highly recommend listening to the audiobook, actors were very good and really sold the emotions of their characters. I did see the final twist coming about 2/3rds into the book, but that doesn’t take away from it in my opinion.

AMAZING plot twist, I didn't expect it. The only reason I didn't give this book 5 stars is because the ending was left kind of up in the air. Its not a completely frustrating thing but I do wish it was tied up. Overall I would highly suggest people read this book.
