I really enjoyed this continuation of the series. It kept me going up until the end. The fact that it was someone out of the blue who "killed" Ali was a big surprise. It was the only part I didn't really enjoy.

I have to say that I was NOT expecting that ending. Questions have been answered while we ask even more questions. When will we reach the end?

I thought this book was pretty entertaining. I feel like it really makes you question who could be A or the killer, or is A the killer, it’s a lot. It gives us a lot of theories that all seem true and make sense to where the reader questions it. Also, the ending of these books are always pretty good to me and it’s what keeps me going onto the next book.

This was the first book in the series that I read after starting the TV show, and it was a bit odd going back to the books since the show obviously changes some thing and the girls are usually together in the show where they tend to have four separate storylines in the books. I thought the Emily storyline was by far the weakest with only the faintest attempt made to turn it into anything besides and excuse to introduce the Wilden clues. Spencer's storyline drove the story for me with the most critical pieces of concrete story playing out in her life. Hannah's trip to the metal institute was interesting and possibly has potential if there ends up being a connection between Alison and Iris. Aria's attempts to contact Alison's spirit didn't interest me much since I figured any info she got from this attempt would be bogus anyway. Overall an average book in the series.
