This book took me a very long time to get through. I listened to the audiobook and at first I did not like her accent but it grew on me. The heart thing was really cute but this book was just okay.

I can’t lie though, I did tear up at the end. It was so sweet. 🥹

My favourite Ice Planet Barbarian cover so far!

Marlene and Zennek look so cute together on cover that I can't tear my eyes off of it.

Marlene previously appeared very briefly in other IPB books, but very much so in Ariana and Zolaya's story. Which on the side note, also makes for a very good read.

She's shown to have been one of the first females who resonated on the planet after they landed there.

Marlene has always been bold and cheerful unlike other women who took sometime to adjust to their changed circumstances. She also seemed to be one of the very few who stood by Ariana and helped her in whichever way she could.

In Barbarian's Seduction, Ruby Dixon takes readers back in time to the very beginning of Zennek and his mate's story along with how the couple fares in the present time.

It is a quick read, with a bold heroine who's not afraid to take what's her's.
