A charming literary tale, but the magical elements didn’t fully work for me. The literary story of the lost bookshop itself would have been enough for me to love without that component.

I know that the bookshop was magical, the genre is magic realism, but there were too many things left unexplained. The story of the book shop wasn´t established, the author only told the reader that it was reconstructed there and that people used to think it was haunted. How does it exist? What is its purpose? And who was the lady she worked for? The ending was really rushed and incomplete

Absolutely charming.

This story kept me reading, so I had to have enjoyed it. But my the time I got to the end I was just happy it was over. 

Too many twists for a non mystery book for me. Too many weird turns and sad events for this moment in time for me, not what I was looking for.
