Wow, just…WOW. Let me start off by saying: I. Loved. This. Book. in fact, I loved it so much, I immediately bought the second book right after I finished it. I never understood the hype of the ‘fairy’ themed fantasy books until now. Now I get it. Saffron, and Cylvan’s chemistry is insane right from the start plus their characters, and even some of the side characters had depth in a way that is so rare with similarly themed books (if you catch my drift ahaha). The best part is, unlike very similarly themed books (again…if you catch my drift ahaha), the writing is actually GOOD and not just glorified fanfiction writing. It was interesting, engaging, emotional, absolutely captivating from start to finish. I would reread this, I WILL reread this. And if there’s ever a special edition hardcopy release of this book, I’ll be the first one lining up to buy it. truthfully a book has not made me fall this in love with it for a LONG time. Like, catch me riding this high for as long as I can. Anyway. if you’re thinking of reading this book, do yourself a favor and give it a chance because I promise you will NOT be disappointed. This book was great, especially if you’re a fantasy romance lover, or just a fantasy lover in general!
Definitely a “I didn’t say it was good I said I liked it” type book ! Had me gasping at the twists and turns, in a kdrama/soap opera way . Unsure if self published ? With some editing, it could definitely be a 4 star . The heart is there, it just needs a lil help beating properly !

There were a lot of things about this book I liked, the writing wasn't too bad and there were some interesting plot ideas. The author had a lot of good going but ultimately it could have benefited from some more editing and refining. Some very unimportant and tedious items were explained in excruciating detail, and important plots were glanced over. There was a lot inconsistency with the writing pace.
I think this author would be capable of a lot better writing with more editing, time and practice.

THIS WAS EVERYTHING I WANTED IN A BOOK!!! Well written, unique premise/characters/setting, I love the angst and the slow burning romance. BOY I LITERALLY SCREAMED AT THE CLIFFHANGER! like I'm immediately starting the next one. I can't actually believe I'm stopping long enough to even write this review! I'LL BE BACK
