It has a Hallmark movie feel to it. The ending wasn't great, though (it left a lot of loose ends), and you have to subscribe to the author's newsletter to get the epilogue.

"Every time we meet it's like I open myself up like a book, and she reads it"
Book 2 in the Finding Love at the Doggy Spa ~ best to be read after [b:Hate to Love the Inspector|62114976|Hate to Love the Inspector (Finding Love at the Doggy Spa, #1)|Elsie Woods|https://i.gr-assets.com/images/S/compressed.photo.goodreads.com/books/1661719210l/62114976._SY75_.jpg|94086374].
Featuring ~ dual 1st person POV, no steamage
Best friend to Amelia, Rita and brother to Rob, Joey take on the big project of planning Amelia and Rob's wedding in just 2 weeks. They throw themselves into the task with gusto as Maid of Honor and Best Man. They work really well together, but there's just one problem ~ they are pining away and crushing on each other, but both are too timid to do anything about it.
Although this is Rita and Joey's story, I'm glad to see the continuation of Amelia and Rob's story, as well.
Rita is so lovable with her belly laughing, do anything for her friends persona.
Joey seems like he'd be an all around fun guy to hang out with. He is so sweet with his Mom, too!
I really enjoy this quick, easy, cute, sweet, clean, slow burn, fun, well written series and look forward to more.

Reader’s Notes:
– this is part of a series, but the other books do not need to be read to understand this one/feel complete
– this is told from both Rita and Joey’s points of view
Review:
This was such a sweet and funny read! I loved how Rita had a crush on Joey and tried denying it but couldn’t no matter how many logical points she thought of that supported it being a bad idea. I loved how Joey was so clueless when it came to what he did to himself by calling Rita buddy anytime he saw her. I liked every time Ingrid spoke, she was very humorous and blunt. And of course I can’t forget the pup that caused chaos almost everywhere he went
