Of the graphic novels I've read in this series, this is hands down my least favorite. While the story was interesting and makes a good point about unreliable parents and parents going through divorce, the Mallory plot line feels rushed and unresolved at the end. At the beginning of the novel, Mallory mentions an accident that happened while she was babysitting that was not preventable. All of the existing members are very judgmental of her and condescending because it happened "on her watch" without offering what they would have done differently. Later, something happens while Dawn is babysitting that is MUCH WORSE than the situation with Mallory. No one ever apologizes to her for their earlier behavior, which I found very off-putting.

The main plot of this book was enjoyable, although I'm not sure if this will find as wide of an audience as some of the earlier books. The problems in this may affect children who have divorced parents differently than those who don't. Overall, while enjoyable, this was not my favorite installment of this series.

I used to love this graphic novel series and this just adds to the series. I love the drawings and stories.
