Wow.

It's not the book's fault that it's not what I expected - I thought I would get more of the story of The Troubles, but it's very focused through the figures it follows (the Price sisters, Gerry Adams and Brendan Hughes). As a result, I didn't learn as much about the overall picture as I thought I would/wanted to. Radden Keefe's writing is excellent, as I loved in Empire of Pain - propulsive and thriller-like. Definitely think Empire of Pain is his masterpiece but I'm keen to read his other work.

One of the best books I’ve ever read. Engrossing narrative and informative about a history I’ve always found a bit confusing.

Highly recommend the audiobook. Excellent narration.
