I enjoyed this read but the protagonist was a bit childish and annoying which made it difficult for her issues to resonate. Will probably read the next two tho because I did like Roth and the whole good vs. evil debate.

It's not a masterpiece but it is a fun read and kept me engaged.

This brought me back to what it was like to be a teenager in the early aughts. All the jargon and style of the time. Ah, it was so good.

And maybe pseudo spoiler alert, sobbed at the end. I'm ready to read the next in the series!

I did a full spoiler free series review on my blog: http://aideensbookobsession.blogspot.com/2016/10/spoiler-free-review-of-dark-elements.html

The best type of slow burn!

I'm currently team Roth, as I'm sure most of us are, however, I have some sort of soft spot reserved in my heart for Zayne still for whatever reason? Hmmm.. so we will see where that ends up going lol.

This book was action packed, had lots of good romance, and the tension and angst were unreal.

I could not get over Bambi! I need a tattoo of her <3

I loved this story! This is my newest obsession! I hope to get through all of JLA’s books in time! Onto Stone Cold Touch next!

these books are so much fun... and roth bby... i missed you

I loved it, it's so good. It's fun, so well written and sexy. But most of all, it's full of twists and amazing plots I'm really excited to see unfold. Can't wait to read book#2.

In that tiny moment of time, just a flicker of a second, his golden eyes met mine. “Free will, huh? Damn. It is a bitch.” And then he smiled—he smiled—at me, a real smile, revealing those deep dimples. “I lost myself the moment I found you.”
