I love my Peter Decker mysteries, but the ones led by Cindy just seem to drag. She’s just not a very mature character and her lack of common sense is frustrating, especially when there are almost no consequences from some of her more dumb-ass decisions. This particular edition to the series just felt unfinished all around. I hope that we get further development of the case involving Rina’s grandmother, and the odious Buck would make a great villain in the future.

This book was okay. The paced of plot was slow too for my likeing and writing was okay. Both the ending and atmosphere was fine. The cover of book was okay and the characters were okay but they were bland.
As usual, I liked it because I like Cindy. I didn't see the point of the Rina/Decker subplot; it didn't really add anything.
