3.5⭐️ for slutty Twilight. I’ll keep reading when I’m in the mood.
I liked that Lexi didn't take any BS from anyone, and she seemed super kickass and independent early in the book.
Out of her potential mates Ranger I disliked, he pissed me off and then annoyed me for most of the book, hopefully he's better in book two. He was obnoxious, he wouldn't take no for an answer, he was cocky, and he was self-centred. I couldn't imagine how he has alpha qualities. He would make an absolutely shitty alpha because he has zero impulse control. He goes off half-cocked all the time and starts fights even though his Alpha father specifically ordered him not to. He's indisciplined, impatient, and incapable of thinking of the long term goal or the big picture. All really lousy qualities for a leader to have.
I liked Maverick and Raff.
Galan was a weird choice as well. I didn't like how Galen compelled the lady in the school office to alter Lexi's grades, to give Lexi passing marks in all classes and make sure she graduated with a B-average. This is unfair, it's dishonorable, and despicable.
Jett was a great friend
although this book has issues the underlying story is strong enough that I will continue to book 2.

Lexi has had a tough life going from foster home to foster home. When she is caught running away again, she gets transferred to a different kind of foster home, this one has adults who care. She doesn’t trust it at first, but as she slowly learns more she discovers that isn’t the only thing different about this new place. I am really enjoying this series, and need to read the next one immediately, because this one ends on a cliffhanger!
Wow. Wow, wow, wow.. Wow... yeah, I’m completely stunned, speechless over that cliffhanger!!! Ahh!!! I can’t believe that amazingness I just read. So yeah, I’ll start this review off by saying that if you don’t enjoy cliffhangers, hold off on reading this series until the next book is out because this book right here? It’ll leave you hanging by your fingertips; rocking back-and-forth in the corner; throwing your reading device; screaming NOOOOOOOOO!!! Yep. It was that amazing. I LOVE when authors leave me dangling over the precipice like Ms. Harper has managed to do here, just in utter shock as I sit here in stunned silence, hoping the next book comes soon so that my heart may start beating a normal rhythm again.
Twice Bitten will grab your attention from the get-go and leave you on the edge of the seat as you climb the hill to the top of the ride and then has you holding on for dear life as you plummet. I loved every second of the ride. Once I started reading, I couldn’t stop. #teamgivemeallthemguys

Yes! This is almost a Twilight #whychoose reverse harem... and it is so good?!?
The whole Twilight-thing and refrences running through the story is funny and cute, and Lexie is a great character (unlike Bella

Enjoyable shifter RH
I enjoyed this book and liked the storyline and characters. At first I was not too sure about things with how all the shifters were reacting to her and treating Rafe. I was not a fan of Ranger and his constant pushing and cockiness. Then when she was forced to move away from the first loving foster home and I was not happy. But... things begin to get better. Lexi starts to trust, accept help and see them for who they really are instead of what they presented at first. I loved Rafe. He is the sweetest and has a heart of gold once he drops his barriers. I even came to like the Alpha and the brothers. They seemed hard and misogynistic at first, but they prove to be different. I almost wished she had a bigger harem. The plot moves slow in the beginning, but I enjoy it actually. It gives the story time to develop. We get to be there with Lexi as she explores new things, hopes and trusts. She needed time because she has not had that in the past. I love her friend Ada as well and hope to see more. The mystery of her heritage is interesting and I’m excited to see what she is. I have a feeling with how book 1 ended on that cliffhanger, book 2 will be more action packed. Multiple povs. Some mild steam. Potential MM in future books. Taboo relationship with teacher. Interesting and captivating book.

This was a guilty pleasure, objectively it would be a 2 star book since nothing happened except for a girl figuring out 4-5 guys turn her on xD The writing made it addictive, but not sure if I would continue or recommend it.
