What an intense ride and I was definitely here for it. This book definitely did a lot of teasing but I enjoyed every bit of it. I definitely can’t wait to dive into the next book because that ending was killer. I have so many questions and I hope to get answers soon.

Going into this I didn’t realise this was a one woman, multiple male interests. It pretty quickly became evident this was the case and I enjoyed the ‘she’s mine’ vibes the book gave.
I’m interested to see what book two offers.
Narrator note: I’m not sure why others are raving about the narration. I found the female narrator quite robotic, so much so I went to check it wasn’t an Ai narration.
I have a lot of issues with this book. BUT IM MOST CONCERNED ABOUT THE TEACHER/MINOR RELATIONSHIP IN THE BOOK. SHES SUPPOSED TO BE 17 AND THE TEACHER IS “21” BUT ACTUALLY 312 YEARS OLD!!! THATS DISGUSTING AND V CONCERNING

I could not put this book down, I read it in one go. That ending was unexpected as well. I hope someone punches Callum hard in the throat. I loved how Lexi knew nothing of shifters or vampires and didn't automatically adjust. She needed time like a normal person. I am really intrigued as to what she is and can't wait to continue this series. Also, Nash needs to take the stick out of his arse!

So this one was a bit so so for me. In part because there are some nonsensical things that happen at the start to set up the plot. Also has some questionable relationships and sexual situations.
