Lost interest because I couldn't connect with the characters.

Dnf at Ch7/24%.
This book read too light & fluffy for my particular tastes. Not a bad book, just not a book for me. I think the right audiences will love this and have fun with it. I just went into it thinking it was going to be dark and because it wasn’t, I couldn’t really get into the writing

All I am going to say is that I should have paid attention to the reviews. This is very much on me and my lesson has been well learned. The thing that makes this even worse is that there is a small, very small part of me that does want to read the third book and finds out what happens to them. I hate myself for that lol

dnf at 25%... i don't know what i expected this to be but it certainly wasn't this. things happened way too fast and i don't know how to feel about the characters, they're kinda weird. the first few chapters were pretty good, they gave me a wrong impression of how this book would "develop" though + the conversations were hella weird imo

Wow. Wow. Wow. Ok. Totally wasn't ready for this book. It sat on my kindle for like 2 weeks or so before I got up the courage to even try to read it. I though, alright this book is gonna be dark. But is it gonna be too dark to start out my year with? I was worried that it would be too heavy for me to get into right now. And it definitely was heavy. But I LOVED IT. I loved this book so much. Lexi and Twitch were something else. So different but complementing to each other. Was not a huge fan of Ling though. Loved Happy and Julius. And Nikki and Dave made me laugh! It got a little wild for a minute because it's literally a book about a guy stalking a girl. And in reality, that's a super scary thought but for some reason we love to love a creepy asshole. Lol. Seriously, was Twitch all that redeeming? Maybe. Either way, I loved his character more than I care to admit. The ending of this book wrecked me though. In the best way possible but still. Wrecked. Can't wait to read the next book!
