I absolutely loved this book until the wrap up. It changed tone, and without giving anything away, I lost interest in the final resolution because it felt like a different book than the one I started.

I've read quite.a few mystery novels this year and if I had to rank them, this would come in at #2. A satisfying 500 page whodunnit with some delightful twists. I sincerely looked forward to coming back to this book every evening.

Como su título indica es brillante la historia.

Es una novela policiaca dentro de otra novela; por lo que hay que resolver dos misterios. Me ha parecido muy original la historia.
Alan escribe un libro muy al estilo Agatha Christie pero faltan los últimos capítulos finales. En medio de la busqueda del final del libro se va desenmarañando la historia real.
Al final encajan las piezas perfectamente en ambos casos.

Hay alusiones a otros autores, libros…del genero. Muy recomendado si te gusta este género
