These books could stand another going over by a copy editor.
That said, the stories and characters are pretty good in spite of them being framed around a slavery & breeding program trope that usually I find too distasteful to stick with. Fortunately the stories thus far have been predominantly about victims breaking free, which I don't mind so much.
I have to admit that I skimmed the sex in this one, though. It's a bit more than I generally care for in my stories, although admittedly I do like a bit of sex and romance in the story - but just a bit. Probably less than the average "romance" calls for.
