Beautifully written study of two women and how their identities have shaped their outlook on life and how they have indelibly left a mark on each other through a long past romantic relationship. I found some of the musings to be a little too vague or over my head but I still enjoyed it for the queer narratives surrounding parenthood, care, and what we owe each other as humans. The time and day based format of the writing was really interesting although sometimes it made me think a little too hard (constantly converting a number of days into number of years) with not too much payoff. Still I like that this writing style played with character perspective and brought to mind how it feels to have a never ending conversation catching up your life and growth with someone you knew intimately years back. I hope to read more stories that explore the precious idiosyncrasies of queer and sapphic relationships like this one.
