~This ARC has been gently provided in exchange for an honest review~
Comics with a dark and morbid humor. Quite original and funny.
There are several characters with their own strips, such as the Grim Reaper, a dog, a robot, and a witch (those are my favourites).
All the comics in the book are new, in case you follow War and Peas on instagram.

some were funnier than others, but it would have been nice if they were organized into some sort of theme or by categories.

'War and Peas: Funny Comics for Dirty Lovers' by Elizabeth Pich and Jonathan Kunz is a collection of comics featuring witches, robots, a grim reaper and others.
Filled with dark humor, touches of the human condition, and a bit of naughtiness, these comics are not for the feint of heart, but others will find them pretty hilarious. I love the art style and the running gags that show up.

Fabulously funny and dark without being too heavy. Many favourites from Instagram that I will enjoy returning to often.

Thank you NetGalley and Andrews McMeel Publishing for giving me an eARC in exchange for an honest review.
I do love graphic novels and I really enjoy a good “adult” read every now and then. I enjoyed this book and would say it is along similar lines to Sarah Anderson’s Adulthood is a Myth, but it fell flat in a lot of ways. Some of the humor was not my kind of humor and some of it felt really jumbled. There wasn’t a clear theme to the comics. However, I did find a few entertaining and am happy I read it.

Me every time:
Alright, Pete, these are short comics, so you GOTTA spread them out over a few days, maybe even a week. Otherwise, the baseline level of wackiness goes up, stays high, and that high level becomes the new bar for wackiness. You'll enjoy this WAY more if you give it some room.
Also me every time:
Fuck it.
