Climbing Kilimanjaro with your family’s sworn enemy? Sounds like a nightmare. But Kit and Miller made it unexpectedly fun. The banter, the tension, the shared tent—it had all the best forced proximity vibes, and I loved watching their dynamic shift as the climb went on.
Miller really surprised me. He’s the type of guy who quietly pays attention, who shows up for you even when you’re trying to push him away. I loved that he never tried to dim Kit’s light, he actually saw how often other people didn’t show up for her and just stepped in without making it a big thing. And when he dropped the reveal about having weekly lunches with her dad? I was dying. 😂
Kit’s growth was one of my favorite parts. It was frustrating watching her pour so much into her mom and sister while putting herself last. But seeing her finally choose herself, her career, her peace, it felt earned and so overdue. Even her dad, who meant well in the most overbearing way (“Come work in the mailroom”), grew on me by the end.
Josh and Drew are still my #1, but I really liked this one. It felt fresh, and the setting gave the romance a whole different vibe. Definitely worth the climb.
